Tell Me Baby

They come from every state to find
Some dreams were meant to be declined
Tell the man what did you have in mind
What have you come to do

No turning water into wine
No learning while you're in the line
I'll take you to the broken sign
You see these lights are blue
Come and get it
Lost it at the city limit
Say goodbye
'Cause they will find a way to trim it
Everybody
Lookin' for a silly gimmick
Gotta get away
Can't take it for another minute

This town is made of many things
Just look at what the current brings
So high it's only promising
This place was made on you

Europe is called: “The Old Continent” because it has more history than any other. I’ve always been interested in Europe and maybe visiting some important places. The Greeks were the first to implement the Theocratic System, in which God is recognized as a supreme civil ruler. Also in the 1920’s the jewels of the Paris treasure were found there, unfortunately during World War II, they disappeared  again. Italy is very interesting as well, because they pioneered in science, law, and engineering. Emperor Adriano’s life caught my eye, because during his term he expanded the Roman Empire by using force but with peace in mind. In the end the goal was met and every individuals creed, traditions, and customs were respected by other countries. After he died the  fight for territory began to bring hate and disrespect amongst Europeans again. I will always be interested in history, treasures and culture.

Punctuality: 1. The quality or state of being punctual.  2. Strict observance in keeping engagements; promptness. These are dictionary definitions, but for some people, it’s more than that, it’s a way of life! Sometimes people excuse themselves by saying: "I’m Sorry". When this has a huge repercussion or shows disrespect to the other people. In our lives 5 minutes of class or test is important. The student who arrives late will have complications in upcoming modules. All lessons are structured for 45 minutes of class. This is why, we guarantee a teacher waiting for you in the classroom. So when evaluation time comes around for: A1, A2, & B1. We are certain that we’re doing our part, and all you have to do is do your best and practice at home. Ask the teachers when you need help. In advanced modules, where sometimes there is more than one student, it’s very important that we respect other students who made an effort to be on time. Imagine being late to your wedding, a job interview, a flight, first date. Give this some thought, before you start running late.

Bogotá Will Move At Metro Rhythm

Arm yourself with patience, traffic in Bogota is going to get worse. Delays are just starting. Our Mayor Samuel Moreno has repeatedly said that, due to the construction of the third phase of Transmilenio and appreciation works, transportation is going to be impacted over the next few years. Although these improvements are going to be long and uncomfortable the Mayor´s office is asking for  understanding and to realize how important they are. They are generating employment and in the long run, are going to make transportation easier.  Nevertheless the Transportation Department is evaluating  how to mitigate problems down the road. On carrera 10th, 7th, and El Dorado Ave. work will go on until the end of 2010. Nearly around the same time the bridge on  34th St. and 26th Ave. should be finished. Let us hope that this time they hired competent contracting firms and that we will not continue to see the same problems we run in to every day on Caracas Ave. for example. This is without mentioning what we are going to face when they decide to start building the metro system. The plan for only one line will cost about 4 billion pesos. City officials are saying that no more taxes are going to appear in order for this to work (we all know what this means), and should work begin, imagine the mess and the parking lots that are going to pop-up in our streets. At the same time, they will keep working on new Transmilenio lines and how to make car owners lives miserable. So, patience people and prepare your pockets!
“Football Basics”

It is a heavy contact sport.  Each team has 2 groups (offense and defense). It consists of 4, 15 minute  quarters, with a 12 minute break. If the game is tied at the end, they play for “Sudden Death”. From the beginning each team has 4 downs to score or, gain 10 yards. Every time they gain 10 yards, they reset downs. If by the 3rd down the offense isn’t close to getting a 1st down, they either kick the ball for a field goal attempt, or to the other team, but if they decide to go for it and do not score the other team gets the ball, becoming the offense. Plays are passes, or runs. A down ends when a player is tackled or he can’t go further, the ball becomes dead. The ball is dead after a pass is incomplete, if it touches the ground without being caught, and if it flies out of bounds. The ball returns to the previous spot. If there is an interception the other team gets the ball.  SCORING: Touchdown: 6 points (when a player catches the ball inside the end zone or runs into it with the ball). Extra point: 1 point (after a touchdown the team kicks a field goal, if they decide to go for 2 points they need to get another touchdown. Field goals are 3 points. The defense gets 2 safety points for tackling the man with the ball in their own end zone.
Dictionary

Baa:
a sheep says, “Baa, baa.”
Babies:
Nancy has two new babies in her house. One baby is named Albert. The other baby is named Anthony. They are her new twin brothers.
Baby:
Mother is holding a baby. A baby is a very young child who cannot walk or talk.
Tell me baby what's your story
Where you come from
And where you wanna go this time oh
Tell me lover are you lonely
The thing we need is
Never all that hard to find oh
Tell me baby what's your story
Where do you come from
And where you wanna go this time oh
You're so lovely are you lonely
Giving up on the innocence you left behind

Some claim to have the fortitude
Too shrewd to blow the interlude
Sustaining pain to set a mood
Step out to be renewed
I'll move you like a baritone
Jungle Brothers on the microphone
Getting over with an undertone
It's time to turn to stone

Chitty chitty baby
When your nose is in the nitty gritty
Life could be a little sweet
But life could be a little shitty
What a pity
Boston and a Kansas city
Looking for a hundred
But you only ever found a fifty

Three fingers in the honeycomb
You ring just like a xylophone
Devoted to the chromosome
The day that you left home
JOKE

God grants a man an interview and he can ask him whatever he wants:
Man: Does time have an effect on you?
God: No.
Man: How long is 1,000 years for you?
God: About 5 minutes.
Man: How much is $1,000,000 for you.
God: About 5 cents.
Man: Could you lend me $1.000.000.
God: Give me 5 minutes.
Virgo (August 23rd — September 21st)

You will overhear a whispered conversation, regarding the cute way someone wiggles their behind when they walk. You will have an uncomfortable feeling that they may be referring to you. This may make you a trifle self conscious.
